Working as one of the top officials in a company is very tough and stressful. A person must bring his A-game everyday. There is no rest day. Everyday is a new challenge. Being one of the top honchos, there is no turning back when it comes to making decisions. One wrong move will certainly affect the company and if the effect led to big loses in revenue, the job is in serious jeopardy. To be named as one of the top executives, a person must have the work experience as well as an outstanding educational background. For Peter Bauert, not only that he has an extensive work experience, his educational attainments can prove that he is more suited to a job than others.
Peter Bauert was already a respectable individual even before he was hired by Fast Search & Transfer, currently his most successful stint throughout his career. He already had more than a decade of work experience before the stint with Fast Search & Transfer. Bauert already worked as a Development Manager for Siemens Stromberg Carlson and as Consultant in Brain & Co. He also became the Vice President for Corporate Development of Cybergold and the Chief Finance Officer of SalesDriver. In some of the companies he worked for, he was one of the main reasons for the increase in its revenues and its successful sale. There is no denying that he has the experience and credential to lead another company. On 2002, Bauert was named as the Executive Vice President for Strategy and Operations of Fast Search & Transfer, a public computer software company. He established joint ventures with Telestra and Rakuten which solidified their growth strategy and international expansions, and led the restructuring of the alltheweb.com business unit. He also helped in generating $10 million in revenue. Bauert was able to pull off this feat when he personally closed sales transactions. Perhaps his biggest contribution to Fast Search & Transfer was increasing its annual revenue. It was only at $30 million when he started but it grew to more than $135 million on 2007, his last year with FAST. After the stint of Bauert with FAST, it became a household name in the computer software industry. For five years as the EVP, Bauert did only the good things for the company.
Given the fact that Peter Bauert had the work credentials plus the outstanding educational background, he was certainly suited for the jobs that he had. He is a man that has proven his worth before and he even proved himself as one of the best when he turned things around for FAST. When Bauert started with FAST, he was a great individual. After half a decade, he became an outstanding individual.
